Description

Embark on a 4-Day fun-filled adventure to Komodo National Park and it's breathtaking Islands. Witness the enchanting flora and fauna starting with a sail to Kelor Island and spot the Komodo Dragon. Marvel on a snorkelling experience at Pink Beach and Manta Point and witness pristine and colorful corals and fishes. Stroll and unwind across Kanawa Island and explore their underwater marine life for ultimate relaxation.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Kelor Island-Manjerite-Flying Fox Island
- Upon your arrival at Komodo Airport of Labuan Bajo, you will be welcomed at the arrival gate and transferred to the pier of Labuan Bajo or you will be picked up from your lobby hotel in Labuan Bajo, transferred to the harbor and get on a boat.
- Sail to Kelor Island for trekking to the top and enjoy the beautiful panorama and take some pictures.
- Sail to Manjerite snorkeling site where you can do snorkelling to see nice coral and fishes, and then head back to the boat and have lunch.
- You will be taken to Rinca Village, late in the afternoon after the boat sails again to Flying Fox Island to see sunset and flying foxes and stay overnight on the boat.
DAY 2: Padar Island-Komodo Island-Pink Beach
- Early in the morning proceed to Padar Island for morning hike.
- Breakfast on board, get ready to Loh Liang (Komodo Island) to see Komodo and spectacular panorama, especially in Komodo Island 128 species of birds, fly over you make your trekking more attractive, and see the Komodo take sunbath.
- Return to the boat and sail to Pink Beach, snorkelling and relax overnight around Komodo Island.
DAY 3: Manta Point-Siaba Island-Sebayur Island
- After breakfast sail to Manta Point (snorkelling), as there are no much corals. Manta comes to this point for eat the planktons, reef fishes live around coral blocks.
- After snorkeling the boat will be moving to Siaba Island do snorkelling to find turtle and coral gardens.
- Snorkell in Sebayur Island to see under pristine and colorful corals and fishes. Stay overnight on boat at Sebayur Island.
DAY 4: Kanawa-Labuan Bajo
- After breakfast proceed to Kanawa Island, to see under water marine life, nice coral and nice beach for relaxing/snorkelling.
- Back to Labuan Bajo.

Know Before You Go

Prepare your appropriate clothes!

Komodo and Flores trip is more concerning about semi adventure and adventure trip, therefore you need to prepare some valuable things with you such as: a proper trekking shoes, a long sleeves clothes, jacket (particularly when exploring Flores mainland with elevation over than 900m above sea level, which is cool temperature), rain coat, swimming suites, casual clothes, sun lotion, mosquito spray, malaria prescription, etc; it is all about your comfortable journey.

Be aware with local wisdom and culture shock!

Flores and Komodo island comprise of ten indigenous ethnics, local language, local customs, and traditions. You need to be able to adjust your dress up with the place where you are being. For instance: when visiting the village avoid wearing mini dress and wear more appropriate one. Moreover, all the visitors must wear Sarong (provided by local villagers) when entering the village or their principal houses. We also recommend you to not to give some money to our children because it is not an educative way to educate our young generations. And no littering. Keep the environment clean.

Bring enough Cash!

There is no ATM Machine on Komodo National Park, meanwhile; most of the payment transaction is acceptable in cash including the payment system for Komodo National Park Fees, purchasing some local souvenir, and deals with your personal expenses. In addition, when you are on Flores overland tour, the ATM Machine is only available at the administrative town such as Labuan Bajo, Ruteng, Bajawa, Ende, Maumere, and Larantuka. When you explore the village, make sure that you have withdraw your cash at some administrative town as mentioned above, it is to avoid any difficulties dealing with your payment transactions. Moreover, the internet service also is not as good as in Labuan Bajo.

Bring your personal Medicine!

If you have any diseases history on your body, please take along with you, your doctor prescription. For instance: if you have asthma, heart attack, cholesterol, diabetes, seasick or land sick, etc you need to be able to adapt/adjust with this new tropical environment.

During your journey to Komodo national park, you need to aware that there has been numerous rules and regulation stated by the authorized of the park that must be obeyed by all the visitors including the normal distance with Komodo dragon, not to make any surprise movement, for any women who is in her period of menstruation, please let the tourist guide knows in order to communicate it to the ranger of the park, so on.

Every valuable moment of your journey needs to capture it into your camera or cell phone’s camera. By using that you can take some memorable photos or videos to be shared to your family, friends or whomsoever in your place.
