Vác Town Tour
- Travel from Budapest to Vác town, which takes about 25 minutes. Get to know about Vác's history and enjoy a pleasant 2-hour walking tour in the city center with your Hungary tour guide.
- Have lunch at a medieval restaurant, where you will taste Hungarian food and drinks.
- Continue your walk to one of the most beautiful Basilicas in Hungary.
- Visit the Bishop's Palace, where you will learn more about the history of this city.
- At the Main Square, stop and admire the famous White Church, where researchers have recently discovered hundreds of mummies. Look at the statues and streets of the baroque monuments of Vác. Take a walk under the famous Triumphal Arch, which Marian Theresa erected for a decent city citizen.
- Pass by the juvenile, an ancient prison, which is still working today.
- Go down to enjoy a boat ride on the Danube River, talking about more fun topics.
- At 5-6 pm, return to Budapest.
