Budapest: Walking tour in the Castle District of Buda
- The tour starts at Hess András Square, at the statue of Pope Innocent XI, where you will get a brief insight into the history of Buda (and a bit of Pest as well).
- In the first half of the walk we will discover the Matthias Church, the Fishermen's Bastion, the Hilton Hotel and other emblematic buildings and monuments in the Trinity Square area.
- On the picturesque promenade we will enjoy the Buda panorama, while on the way to the palace you can expect all the fascinating stories and facts about the sights and everyday life of Hungarians.
- In the second half of our walk you will get to know the royal part of the neighborhood and its surroundings, where we will hear not only about the grandiose building of the palace and its courtyards, but also about the historic Funicular and the breathtaking panorama of Pest.
- At the end of our walk we will go down the hill together, and from there there are all transportation links to the Pest side.
