Hello and welcome! 

I am glad you decided to visit one of the most beautiful countries in the world, the country often called the pearl of 1000 islands (we have 1184 of them, really!), the country of diversities or 'the Mediterranean as it once was'! 

My name is Matt and I come from the southern coast of Croatia, the region of fascinating beauty called Dalmatia (yeah, those cute white and black spotted dogs come from that region, too!).I live in the capital of Dalmatia - 1700 years old UNESCO protected city of Split. 

Even though I have a masters degree in Marketing - since 1999 tourist business (arranging private tours and guiding) has become my primary occupation. 

I love history and Arts and I enjoy sharing the beauty of my region with my guests.My biggest passions are traveling and experiencing new cultures, customs and people (I consider myself lucky that I've been able to visit more than 50 countries so far), gastronomy & wines, foreign languages, literature, architecture, history, geography and international politics.I am a big fan of outdoor activities, especially biking, sailing and hiking. 

I have been a tour guide since 1999 and during that period I have shown my country to thousands of guests from all over the world.I have been working with the main tour operators from Croatia, US, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.I have been guiding and organizing tours, customized and tailor-made itineraries for individuals and groups all around Croatia and abroad. 

For my guests in Croatia, I will be glad to organize and guide the whole variety of tours (half-day, one-day, one-week, two-week...) around Dalmatia, Croatia and our beautiful region – Montenegro, Bosnia and Slovenia.... 

So...maybe you would like to take a morning walking tour of the historical 2-millennia old UNESCO city of Split (discovering its complex history and also seeing some of the Game of Thrones filming locations) and then enjoy traditional Dalmatian lunch in some of the typical 'konoba' restaurants afterwards, followed by a visit to the 3 millennia old UNESCO protected town of Trogir - just a 30 minute drive from Split? 

Or you prefer pacing in amazing surroundings of hundreds of waterfalls of UNESCO National park Plitvice, or of those of National park Krka... 

Would you like to swim in the most transparent sea in Europe? Maybe you wish to enjoy a private speedboat/sailboat tour, or a driver-guided tour of my island - one of the world's 10 most beautiful islands - island of Hvar - or visit island Brac, the place where the White House stone came from and the island with the most famous beach in Croatia - the Golden Horn/ Zlatni Rat beach.Or maybe visit distant and breathtaking island Vis (filming location of Mamma Mia II, in 2017) and its famous Blue cave, or maybe the birthplace of Marco Polo - beautiful island Korčula... 

Or, would you like to explore one of the best known symbols of Croatia and the Mediterranean - UNESCO town Dubrovnik (being the King's Landing in Game of Thrones...) and explore the wonderful region of Dubrovnik - peninsula Peljesac (and its delicious oysters, mussels and famous wines...), island Korcula, Konavle region, river Neretva valley, or the neighboring country of Montenegro? Its beautiful UNESCO town Kotor, town Budva or mount Lovcen and the old capital Cetinje....?

Or magnificent Slovenia: Koper, Ljubljana, lakes Bled and Bohinj, Lipica stud farm, or maybe breathtaking Postojna cave....

Or we could go where East meets the West....to the Bosnian town Mostar, famous for its old Ottoman bridge (UNESCO heritage) and the beautiful river spring and waterfalls in the nearby area and the famous pilgrimage place – Medjugorje.
