Coastal Gems of Istria
- In Pula, visit the Roman Amphitheatre and do a circular walk through the old town to see the rest of the rich and astonishing Pulas' history.
- Explore Poreč and take a cosy walk through the old Parentium on a small peninsula 400m long and 200m wide.
- Visit the must-see Basilica of Euphrasius, Poreč. It is a complex of early Christian architecture, preserved and fully functional until the present (extra charge). We will need the proper attire to enter the holy places, including something to cover your shoulders and skirts not above the knees.
- Visit Rovinj, a gem of the Mediterranean. Here, we will have a more demanding walk climbing old, narrow stone streets up to the top of the hill. Here, see one of the largest Istrian churches. Just peek behind one of its altars to see what is kept in the marble sarcophagus.
