"Tour guide, Igor, should have his photo as the illustration for the word "guide" in any dictionary.Really smart, calm and funny."This is one of many positive reviews I've had during my 20-year-long career as a tour guide.I started out with my passion: plants.For about 4 years I worked as a specialised guide for Saga Holidays LTD as their "Flora&Fauna" guide.Consequently, I worked in the same field of "trees, shrubs & flowers" for ACE Study Tours (UK) and the Pacific Horticulture Society (US).My other field of specialisation are lectures on local history, with the accent on the Balkans War.My audience were, among others, groups of alumni from Yale and Caltech Universities, The National Geographic Society and the Road Scholar.In recent years I have worked as a tour leader and a guide on one day trips from the Split and Trogir region to Dubrovnik, Mostar (Bosnia&Herzegovina), The Krka National park, The Plitvice Lakes National park, Šibenik...I enjoy doing walking tours of Trogir, too.I am fascinated by the Middle Ages.Trogir really abounds in romanesque and gothic buildings, so I'm delighted to share my experience with both English and French speaking enthusiasts.
