1. Athens Highlights Tour

   • Meet the professional driver, who will pick you up from the hotel, and drive up to the hill of Acropolis to see the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Temple of the Athena Nike, the monumental gateway- Propylaea, the Erechtheum and Parthenon- the main temple dedicated to the virgin goddess Athena.
   • Check out the Theatre of Dionysus and visit the Temple of Zeus, Hadrian's Arch and Panathenaic Stadium, the site of the first modern Olympic games held in 1896.
   • Drive alongside the National Garden and see the changing of the guard- Euzones, in front of the old palace, as it is the Parliament House now.
   • Stroll through Panepistimiou Street, one of the most ancient streets of Athens, to see numerous neo-classical buildings still standing since the late 19th century.
   • Discover the architectural trilogy of Athens, The Academy–The University–The National Library.
   • Move into the city's historical centre and drive up the highest hill of Athens, Lycabettus, to see the best panoramic views of the city, extending from the hill of the Acropolis to the Aegean Sea.
   • Have a traditional Greek lunch. 
   • Visit the two historically old neighbourhoods of Athens- Plaka and Monastiraki. 
   • See the famous Andrianou Street and the flea market, and continue to Agora, considered the birthplace of democracy, philosophy and free speech.
   • Explore the Temple of Hephaestus and a small museum house under the Portico of Attalos.
   • Proceed to the new Acropolis Museum, which hosts all the findings that have been excavated from the hill of the Acropolis and its slopes. 
   • Return to the hotel by the end of the tour.
