Join this outstanding climbing trip to the mountain of the 12 majestic Gods, along with a 2-day climbing venture in the unique Meteora rock formations, one of the most significant climbing sectors in Greece. Also, learn about the local culture as you visit some ancient museums and monasteries of the Meteora region.
Itinerary

Day 1- Litochoro
- Meet at Litochoro town and transfer towards the trailhead.
Hike to Musses Plateau 2,700m - settle down in a Mountain Refuge.
Get a briefing about the next day schedule.
Dinner & overnight stay.
Duration: 5 - 6 hours

Day 2- Climbing Mount Olympus summits through a traverse
- We'll take breakfast at the hut.
Today we will climb all the 2,900m summits via a magnificent traverse, from North to South.
We will climb the Throne of Zeus and the sharp rocky spur - continue to the very top Mytikas 2,918m via the northeast spur (AD+) and finally access the hut late in the afternoon.
Difficulty: AD, 200m
Duration: 5 - 6 hours

Day 3- Climbing the throne of Zeus (North-East face)
- Breakfast will be taken at the hut.
Today we will climb the North-East face of Throne. Comicci - Escher 200m, D is a classic and outstanding rock climb and exits on the rocky spur of the Throne.
Downclimb towards the hut early in the afternoon. Short break for light lunch and down hike to the car. Duration: 8 - 10 hours
Transfer to Litochoro and continue towards Meteora region.
Settle down at a guest house: dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4- Climbing Meteora rocks
- First thing in the morning, we will take breakfast and hold a short briefing about the climb.
Today we will experience a unique climbing area with huge rock pillars, known worldwide as Meteora. The ancient sandstone formations almost touch the sky. We will climb one of the 2000 bolted routes.
The same afternoon, we will visit the medieval monasteries and the museum.
Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5- Climbing the rock pillars - Back to Litochoro
- You will be given a short briefing about the climb while having breakfast.
Then, we will proceed to climb the rock pillars.
After returning to the foot of the rocks in the early afternoon, you will be transferred to Litochoro.
