Day 1: From Athens to Mycenae & Olympia
After your pick up from your Athens central hotel, depart via the coastal National highway for the strategic Corinth Canal (short stop).
Continue to Epidaurus and visit the Ancient theatre, world-famous for its outstanding acoustics.
Then, proceed to visit the land of Homer’s Golden Mycenae, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
- You will see the Cyclopean Walls, the Lion’s Gate, the Royal Tombs, including Agamemnon & Clytemnestra’s, and the Treasury of Atreus, a magnificent 14th-century B.C. structure.
Then, in the afternoon, depart for Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, through Central Peloponnese and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis.
Dinner and overnight in Olympia.

Day 2: Olympia to Delphi
- After breakfast at the hotel, take a tour of the Olympia archaeological site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Ancient Stadium and the archaeological Museum.
- Then drive through the plains of Eliad and Achaia until you reach the magnificent bridge crossing the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion.
- Pass by the picturesque cities of Nafpaktos and Itea and arrive in Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world.
Dinner and overnight stay in Delphi.

Day 3: Delphi to Athens
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Archaeological Site and the Museum of Delphi.
Delphi remains one of the most important UNESCO World Heritage sites in Europe.
Pass by Castalia spring, visit the archaeological site & the museum of Delphi, and view the monument of the Argive Kings, the temple of Pronaia, the treasury of the Athenians, the Athenian Stoa, the Polygonal Wall, the monument of Platea, and the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle and Delphi museum.
Have a couple of hours of free time in Delphi before departing and driving through the village of Arachova, renowned for its colorful rugs and carpets.
Return to Athens via Levadia and Thebes. Arrive in Athens early in the evening.
