- Make yourself a ceramic souvenir, free of charge. Margarites is one of Crete's most iconic and well-known pottery centres and has a long history of residents' who practice this art.
- Explore Melidoni Cave, one of the most impressive on the island. Study the archaeological findings of this place in the Archeological Museum of Rethimnon. Moreover, the cave has played a tragic role in the history of the Cretan revolution. A small chapel is built at the entrance of the cave.
- Visit a modern olive oil farm and factory in Melidoni. It is a one-of-a-kind olive oil farm with state of the art facilities. Tour the three different mills in our olive oil factory.
