Philipsburg - Marigot - Grand Case Tour
- Meet your tour guide outside the Philipsburg Cruise facility or at the square downtown right in front of the courthouse on the front street and start your tour.
- Our first stop will be at the hilltop overlooking Cole Bay and Simpson Bay, known for its marina full of yachts and famous lagoon, for some beautiful postcard pictures. Also, do not forget to see the majestic Caribbean Sea and neighbouring Islands like St Kitts, Statia & Saba.
- After a few minutes of driving, we shall stop at our symbolic border monument erected to mark the 1848 treaty between Philipsburg and Marigot.
- We will then be arriving at the Northern side of the Island in Marigot and explore its marketplace.
- Hike to the famous "Fort Louis". Built in 1789, it is considered the most important building in Marigot.
- Our last stop is also our main event at a small village called Grand Case. Swim or relax around its white sand beach and turquoise waters and have lunch at the local "Lolos" famous for grilled meats & tasty side orders, after coming back in from some of the best snorkelling around the lively coral, fishes & other species.
