Day 01

Bandia Reserve Safari and Baobab Graveyard Visit

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning at 7:00 am after breakfast to begin the tour.
Travel to Bandia Reserve and set out on a 4-wheel-drive jeep safari across 3,500 hectares with 60 kilometres of track.
Spot wildlife such as hyenas, rhinos, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, Derby and Cape elands, impalas, horses, antelopes, warthogs, crocodiles, velvet monkeys, red monkeys, and birds.
Visit the Baobab graveyard, with its skulls and emblematic tree, which was used in bygone days as a cemetery in some areas. This thousand-year-old tree is considered a holy place where people still perform rituals.
Later, enjoy a delicious lunch at a restaurant in Bandia and return to your hotel in Dakar.
End the tour at the crocodile pond.
