Description
This is an overnight trip (at Baoblong Lodge in Janjanbureh) which allows you to see the real Gambian way of living through its rich landscape and local villages. You also have the opportunity to take a boat trip to baboon island, where you may see chimpanzees, hippos, crocodiles, baboons, monkeys and different species of birds.

Hippo and Chimpanzee Tour
Collect from lodgings at 9 am, then drive to Georgetown where we will drop off our overnight bags at the lodge, then we go straight to the river where we spend the day hippo and chimp watching. You should wear a hat to protect yourself from the sun. We return to our air-conditioned lodgings in the evening for supper and some well-earned rest! In the morning, we will tour Georgetown on foot, enjoy a Gambian Breakfast, and travel back to your hotel/lodgings.
