- We start early in the morning and catch up with the earlier ferry from Banjul ferry terminal to Barra where we will meet our waiting vehicle to drive us to the borders for the immigration formalities. "Please acquire your visas if you need one to enter into Senegal and yellow fever certificate".
- Once we arrive in Senegal we are introduced to our Ranger as we are welcomed into the Fathala Nature Reserve, currently 2000 acres of a natural environment which many African Wildlife have now made home.
- On our contained vehicle, we can follow the animal tracks through the wilderness to spot some of the species that roam the area. In just a day, it is possible to spot giraffes, rhino, giant elands, zebras, antelopes, pythons, buffalos to mention only a few – how lucky will you be? A great chance to take memories of Africa home – don’t go without your cameras – this may be your only chance to take some amazing pictures!
- During the day, we will have lunch at the local restaurant on the way back to the ferry. Drinks and Ice cream are normally available to buy during the day at the park. You will learn the area's history and their great plans for the future. Go on be a part of Africa that you will remember forever.
Optional lion walk available at an extra cost of approx $45 per person paid locally at Fathala.
