Real Gambia Experiences
- Join us on our off-the-beaten-track adventure which follows the coast but uncovers the Gambian village way of life by also travelling through the outskirts of the village.
- We make unscheduled stops such as primary school visits, and traditional family compounds and also to observe the traditional village way of life and many exotic and colourful birds. We drive close to Paradise Beach where you will enjoy lunch and relaxation, we visit a local Manjago compound where you will learn how the palm is “tapped” and will also be offered some wine to sample.
- Next, we visit the Tanji Village Museum showing various aspects of Gambian Culture.
- On our return stopping by a fishing village on the way with an explanation of the importance of this industry and first-hand experiences of how the industry works in the country.
