Itinerary

1. Day 1: Dakar

   • Arrival in Dakar, transfer to hotel.

2. Day 2: Herb Market

   • Visit Herb Market Tilene & Medina to see how the markets operate, its hustle and bustle in Dakar, Lebou Subburb, Meeting of musicians to learn the Senegalese musical culture & Fish BBQ in a Cultural center.

3. Day 3: Dakar

   • City Tour of Dakar the administrative capital of Senegal, visit some of its many attractions including the of Museum civilisations noires, Monument de la Renaissance, Train station and drive past the Palace, Goree Island in the aternoon and evening dinner in a Galerei restaurant. 

   Overnight at the 3 star hotel.

4. Day 4: Fisherman Village

   • Visit of fishermen village to get to understand the industry works in Senegal, Thiaroye and Medicine people and their ways of treating people by using traditional herbs and ways, drive to Rosa Lake visit the area and visit locals Niagues.

5. Day 5: St. Louise

   • Drive to St Louise over Thies with various stop en route to visit local people, Lunch along the way, Visit of Shoemakers to get to know how they makes various kind of shoes, Koba – ecolodge and late afternoon visit of local tribes to learn about their cultures and traditions(Peul)

6. Day 6: Peul Women

   • Morning learning more of the Peul women & their tradition to deep dive more about this unique tribe, afternoon drive back to St- Luoise and Sightseeing  of St Louise with Horse carriage

7. Day 7: Djoudi National Park

   • Visit of the djoudi NP to have an idea of how important that area is for various species of birds and later visit locals nomads to see how also survive on looking after cattle, sheep's and goats

8. Day 8: Saloumn Delta

   • Drive into Saloum Delta, on the way visit  Touba to see its well-known mosque and learn about an Islamic scholar Serign Touba, Koalack and many stops be local villages and different tribes

9. Day 9: Sokone

   Drive to Sokone visit of local people along the way get into see a family house and afternoon arrival at Kuer Saloum Camp in Touba Couta—late afternoon boat trip to the bird Dormitory in time for roosting.

10. Day 10: Wassadou

    Early drive  east to wassadou en route visit of the local markets & Wassu stone circles to learn about the mysterious that surrounded it, possible afternoon boat trip over the Gambia River depending on the arrival  time at Wasadou

11. Day 11: Mako

    • Visit of Mako village, Goldsearchers village Tomboronkonto to see how local people search for gold in the mines, then later drive to Dindefelo Waterfall (Kedougou) to see the main source of the River Gambia.

12. Day 12: Bassariland

    • Drive to Bassariland – visit of villages Salemata, Iwol – Egath to experience the unique culture and way of life for Bassari tribe

13. Day 13: Casamance

    • Drive to south (Casamance) visit en route Velingara and stops in many villages on way in Kolda visit Fort of King Malo and the holy Tree(Kolda)

14. Day 14: Ziguinchor

    • Drive to Ziguinchor, stops en route by villages  and meet of minorities Casamance (Bainouck, Balante, Fouladou oder Madjack) to learn about the various tribes of the Southern Senegal and their various rich cultures evening village feast & dinner and overnight at Ziguinchor 3 star hotel.

15. Day 15: Ziguinchor

    • Drive & visit Affiniam und Baila (Ziguinchor) to see and learn about the people of the region.

16. Day 16: Enampore

    • Drive & visit Enampore (Impluviumhaus), Island Carabane, Mlomp (Etagenlehmhaus), Oussouye (ev. Treffen mit dem Diola-König), Djembering (Cap Skirring)

17. Day 17: Gambia

    • Drive to the Gambia and visit Tendaba Camp, lunch and relax by the pool before the after boat tour across the Gambia-River into Tungu and Kissi.

18. Day 18: Kiang

    • Drive to Kiang-West National Park to see some of the Gambia fauna and flora and drive to Banjul with lunch stop en route.

19. Day 19: Banjul

    • Sightseeing Banjul with Market & Museum: we visit the National Museum in Banjul, Albert market, then drive to Bakau Katchically Crocodile Pool and finally at Serekunda Batik Tied & Dye factory and leisure afternoon

20. Day 20: Dakar

    • Drive back to Dakar with a visit to Fathala Safari Park for some animals with a visit en route Joal-Fadiouth and lunch stop along the way. Client wants To learn about  locals, their, tradition, Life, interact, Talk.
