Day 1 - Accra to Kumasi City
Meet your Kumasi tour guide at an agreed-upon location and head to Kumasi.
Visit the beautiful Manhyia Palace Museum upon arrival, along with the Okomfo Anokye sword site and the King Prempeh Museum to gain first-hand information about the legacies of the Asante Kingdom.
Explore the city and see varied monuments dedicated to the memory of the great Asante people before heading to Kejetia Market, which is West Africa's biggest open market.

Day 2 - Celebrate Akwasidae Festival
Get a chance to witness the special Akwasidae Festival, which is an ornate ceremony commemorating the date when Ashanti Golden Stool was magically brought down from heaven.
Enjoy watching parades of colourful canopies and umbrellas, kete and mpintsin drummers, dancers, horn blowers and singers who will perform in honour of their ancestral spirits.
