Itinerary

1. Day 1 - Cape Coast Sightseeing

   • Meet your Ghana tour guide in Accra and drive to the Cape Coast.

   • Visit Cape Coast, which houses the West African Historical Museum where you can learn the history of the slave trade and its impact on the Africans.

   • Go to the Posuban Military shrine where Fanti soldiers did mental and spiritual preparation before going to the war.

   • Enjoy a delicious dinner.

   • Relax in Elmina or take a leisurely walk along the beach to witness fishermen going about their daily activities during the sunset. 

2. Day 2 - Elmina Sightseeing

   • Visit the Elmina Castle built by the Portuguese, which was the first European structure built in Sub-Saharan Africa.

   • Proceed to see the Java Museum, which is dedicated to the history of the so-called Belanda Hitam.

   • Go to the Dutch fort built by St. George Hill in 1665 to provide military protection to the Elmina castle.

   • Continue to explore the historic tropical rain forest, Kakum National Park, which boasts of a breathtaking variety of flora and fauna. 

   • Walk through the Canopy Walkway, which is basically a group of seven bridges hanging above the forest floor.

   • Visit a local fishing community or join a host family for a local dish culinary experience. (Optional)

   • Return to your resort for a scrumptious dinner and relaxation.

3. Day 3 - Ko-Sa Beach Activities & Final Departure

   • Engage in some of the exciting activities organized by the Ko-Sa beach resort before your final departure. The activities include:

     • Horse-riding

     • Drumming

     • Dancing lessons

     • Fishing

     • Batik painting

     • Basket-weaving

     • Craft making
