Itinerary

1. Day 1- Tbilisi City Sightseeing

   • Head to Tbilisi and start your tour from the Metekhi Church, followed by the Narikala fortress, Legvtakhevi Gorge, the famous sulphur baths, J. Sharden pedestrian streets, a glass bridge called Bride of Peace, the famous Gabriadze Marinette theatre, and the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity (Sameba).

   • If interested, we can book the Sulphur Baths for you in the evening.

2. Day 2- Tbilisi - Kazbegi

   • Drive down a Georgian military road with views of the majestic glaciers to Kazbegi.

   • On the way, visit the Ananuri fortress overlooking the Zhinvali water reservoir.

   • See Gudauri Ski Resort, the mountain playground.

   • Arrive in Kazbegi (now Stepantsminda). In clear weather, you can admire the view of one of the highest peaks of Georgia - Mount Kazbek (5047m) from here.

   • Later, if weather permits, visit the incredible waterfall of Gveleti.

3. Day 3- Tbilisi - Borjomi - Akhalcike - Borjomi

   • Visit Borjomi National Park, where you can drink Borjomi mineral water from its source.  

   • Next, explore the Vardzia caves in Aspindza and Rabati castle in Akhalcike.

4. Day 4- Borjomi - Gori - Mtskheta - Tbilisi

   • Arrive in the hometown of Stalin, Gori.

   • Visit the museum of Stalin and his father's house.

   • Check out the cave city of Uplistsikhe, through which the Silk Road once passed. We have an opportunity to explore this ancient complex with residential caves, wineries, bakeries, age-old theatre, and the medieval basilica.

   • Proceed to Mtskheta - the religious center of Georgia.

   • Explore the UNESCO World Heritage monument of Cross Monastery.

   • Then, we will visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and walk out in the pedestrian area with benches and souvenir shops.
