Description
Spend a day exploring Georgia's historical highlights. Visit Atskuri, Akhaltsikhe and Khertvisi fortresses, then continue to Vardzia, which is a cave monastery site in southern Georgia. Vardzia, Borjomi Water Park, Khertvisi & Atskuri Fortresses Tour
- Climb the 10th-century Atskuri fortress, which has seen many battles between the Ottoman Occupants and the Georgian army.
- Continue to the Vardzia Rock Cut Cave Monastery, presented to UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Move to the Old Stone Rabati Fortress in Akhaltsikhe, a 13th-century military city and fortress.
Climb the Khertvisi fortress, which belongs to the Georgian Feudal Period and is one of the oldest fortresses in the area.
Stroll through the beautiful surroundings of the Borjomi mineral water park and resort.
Return to Tbilisi in the evening.
End of the tour.
