Description
Explore the ancient market town of Brecon on this two-hour walking tour. We will begin with a highlights tour of the wonderful local museum, Y Gaer. I will give you a (brief!) history of Wales as illustrated through the artefacts here. We will then head down to the canal basin before meandering through the back streets to the cathedral. Brecon was once a key location for both the Romans and the Normans. It is on a crossroads from north to south and east to west. Today, it is a key town in the Bannau Brycheinniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.
