Carcassonne, Toulouse and Albi Tour
- Meet the tour guide and drive to Carcassonne.
- Take a walk around and visit this impressive fortified medieval city. Here, you will see the defensive walls and ramparts surrounding the city and learn about the Cathar people and their tragic history.
- Visit the castle and museum inside the fortified medieval city - this allows you access to walk along the ramparts. (Optional)
- Drive through the village and then stop at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Lastours Castle formation. There is a small admission fee to access the "Belvedere", where you can take photos of these four Cathar castle ruins.
- Then, head to Albi. See its marvellous museum and learn about Toulouse-Lautrec. Explore the largest red-brick cathedral in the world, which sits next to the museum.
