I have always worked in the Tourism industry (in both America and Normandy) but I finally decided after being a guide for 15 years, the time to retire had come for me…And although I have crossed 80 years, I am still in great condition and I still move working with my clients.I live in Bayeux and the entire world war period is very personal for me.My parents in 1944 escaped from Carentan to take refuge at my grand mother’s farm in St Jean de Daye as they could hear the bombing going on the nearby beaches. At the time my father was in the Resistance working at the train-station and was put in jail in St Lo then later in Caen by the Germans. My mother was almost 8 months pregnant with me at the time.
I would love to meet you and tell you more about that period, and show you around Normandy
