Verdun Battlefield Tour
- Connect with your tour guide to start the tour by visiting the Colonel Driant Command Post, the place where the offensive battle began. Understand the sacrifice of the Colonel and his "Chasseurs" trying to slow down the German attack.
- Then, go to the Ossuary, where the French and German soldiers are buried together.
- Explore Les 4 cheminées- an underground casemate.
- See the remains of the former village of Fleury, which was never rebuilt.
- Travel to the Bayonet trench monument and the mass grave.
- After that, look outside the Fort of Douaumont and witness the panorama view of the battlefield.
- Lastly, stroll through Ouvrage de Froideterre, a historical area of the fort.
