Embark on a snowmobile ride for Rovaniemi to a husky kennel and enjoy a 3 km husky safari in the Arctic Circle. Get to learn about the lifestyle of huskies and enjoy hot coffee or tea before heading back to Rovaniemi on your snowmobile.

Itinerary

Snowmobile Ride and Husky Safari
- Go on a brisk snowmobile ride to a husky kennel, where the dogs will welcome you with friendly barking.
- At the kennel, you will have a husky safari for approximately 3 km, and you will also learn about the life of huskies.
- Enjoy hot beverages served around a campfire at the kennel so that you will get warm again and then ride the snowmobile back to Rovaniemi.

Know Before You Go

Please make sure your phone is ON during the tour day.

This tour is operated only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

This tour is unavailable on certain days: Dec 25th, 2021, Jan 1st, 2022.

Confirmation will be received at the time of booking.

Please notice that the pick-up times for the safari/excursion vary depending on your accommodation. We kindly ask you to check the correct time carefully from your booking confirmation.

Operates in all weather conditions, therefore please dress appropriately. However, the tour may be adapted or cancelled in case of unsafe weather conditions.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Minimum passenger requirement applies. There is a possibility of cancellation or rescheduling if there are not enough passengers to meet the needs. In the event of cancellation due to passenger requirements, you will be refunded fully.

Each snowmobile is shared by 2 guests taking turns in driving. Solo driving, please choose Sole Driving.

The snowmobile driver has to be at least 18 years of age with a driver’s license valid in Finland.

Driving a motorized vehicle under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs is prohibited by the laws of Finland.

This safari is CO2 compensated from the snowmobile fuel emission.

When sharing the husky sleigh on the safari, one is standing behind a sleigh as a controller, and one is sitting on a sleigh as a passenger.

Self-liability can be reduced to 150 € by paying a waiver supplement of 15 € per safari driver.

What To Bring

Remember to bring your valid driving license (or a photocopy) with you on the day of the trip.

Printed booking confirmation and e-tickets both are accepted.

We recommend you wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

In wintertime, warm winter clothes with a scarf and hat are recommended as the temperature can be as low as -35 Celsius degrees.

It is recommended that you have travel insurance because the health care costs may be high in the improbable event of an accident.
