Experience the Finnish winter by joining the ice-fishing excursion tour with us on a lake in the Arctic Circle! Learn the skill and knowledge of ice fishing from your professional guide and enjoy a barbeque around a campfire.

Itinerary

Ice Fishing Tour
- This tour's start time is 12:30 p.m, it will be confirmed after booking.
- Our professional ice-fishing guide will take you to the ice that is enough to hold the weight of a human being, and teach you knowledge and skills for ice-fishing and provide all necessary equipment. Catching a fish is not guaranteed and it requires patience and a lit bit of luck!
- During the time of fishing, the guide will prepare a campfire atop the ice or by the shoreline of the lake to prepare hot juice and grill sausages for you. If you catch a suitable-sized fish, we will grill it together during the tour!

Know Before You Go

Please make sure your phone is ON during the tour day.

This tour is unavailable on certain days: December 24th, 25th, 31st, 2021, January 1st, 2022.

Confirmation will be received at the time of booking.

Please notice that the pickup times for excursions vary depending on your accommodation.

Please be ready and wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your scheduled pickup time.

Operates in all weather conditions; please dress appropriately. However, the tour may be adapted or cancelled in case of unsafe weather conditions.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Minimum passenger requirement applies. There is a possibility of cancellation or rescheduling if there are not enough passengers to meet the needs. In the event of cancellation due to passenger requirements, you will be refunded fully.

What To Bring

Printed booking confirmation and e-tickets both are accepted.

We recommend you wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

In wintertime, warm winter clothes with a scarf and hat are recommended as the temperature can be as low as -35 Celsius degrees.

It is recommended that you have travel insurance because the health care costs may be high in the improbable event of an accident.
