Itinerary

1. Day 1: Lake Mburo & Queen Elizabeth National Park

   • Pick up from the hotel.
   • Depart for Lake Mburo National Park and look for the Eland, Topi, Klipspringer and Zebra. 
   • Explore the Mburo lake and the attractive acacia-dotted Savannah, home to the huge Zebras and Buffaloes that graze these peaceful acres.
   • Look for the Hippos and catch a glimpse of water birds diving for fish such as the Marabou stork, bee-eater and cheeky bronze-tailed starling, as well as the majestic crowned crane. 
   • Have lunch.
   • Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. 
   • Visit the rift valley and Rwenzori mountains.
   • Arrive at the Queen Elizabeth National Park in the evening and check-in at Mweya Safari Lodge or Institute Hostel.
     
     

2. Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park

   • Trek in the Kyambura Gorge, where one will see the chimpanzees and other primates like the colobus & vervet monkeys, baboons, etc. 
   • Return to the lodge for lunch.
   • Take an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and see a variety of marine animals.
   • Explore Lake Edward and Lake George, filled with schools of hippos, buffaloes and elephants at the banks. 
   • Visit the crater area.

   Return in the evening for Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp/ Lodge.

3. Day 3: Sightseeing at the Queen Elizabeth National Park

   • Rise early for a morning game drive and look for lions and leopards, returning to their hideouts. 
   • Meet grazing elephants, spotted hyenas, bushbucks, waterbuck, stripped jackal, and warthogs.
   • Return to the hotel.
