Description
Travel from Nairobi to explore Ukunda, a Kenyan coastal town in the southern part of Mombasa, known for its Diani Beach, a major tourist attraction. Continue to Ksite Island, a small island in the protected area of coral gardens in Kenya, home to colourful fishes, sea turtles and dolphins.
Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi–Ukunda
- Pick up from the hotel in Nairobi and travel to the airport to catch a morning flight to Ukunda.
- Arrive at Ukunda by 10:00 am and check-in at the Baobab Beach Resort.
- Have lunch at the resort and travel to Diani Beach.
- Relax at the beach.
Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.

Day 2: Ksite Island Excursion
- Pick up from the resort and travel to Ksite Island, located on the south coast, near Shimoni and south of Wasini Island in Kwale district near the Tanzanian border.
- Explore the small waterless coral island, 8 km offshore in the Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park.
- Look for a wide range of marine animals and birds in their special habitat on the scenic island, which also offers a sanctuary to over 200 dolphins that can be encountered above the waves.
- Savour some seafood for lunch.
Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.

Day 3: Return to Nairobi
- Rise early in the morning, have breakfast and spend the day at the resort.
- Travel to the airport to catch the evening flight back to Nairobi.
End of the tour.
