See the best wildlife parks of Kenya, starting with a game drive in Samburu, find spectacular rhinos in Ol Pejeta and see elephants, buffalos, and other animals at Masai Mara. Look for flamingos at Lake Nakuru, do biking at Hell’s Gate National Park and swim at Olkaria Geothermal Station. Lastly, snorkel at Kisite Mpunguti, and enjoy water sports activities, including windsurfing, waterskiing at Diani.
Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi
- Meet and transfer from Nairobi Airport to Jacaranda Hotel or similar, where you will be staying on a Bed and Breakfast basis.
- Depending on when you arrive, you will have the rest of the day to explore Nairobi at your own pace.

Day 2: Nairobi- Samburu National Park
- Depart after breakfast and drive to Kenya's rugged northeastern region, home of the colourful Samburu tribe.
- Cross the equator en route. The Reserve is set in a beautiful dry desert-like landscape, and large mammals such as elephants are seen.
- Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch, followed by time to relax.
- Enjoy an afternoon game drive returning to Samburu Sopa Lodge at sunset.

Day 3: Samburu National Park
- Enjoy early morning and afternoon game drives exploring this arid wilderness while photographing its main inhabitants. The great thing about Samburu is that it is located in a semi-desert region of Kenya and therefore not overcrowded with tourists, so you are always assured of fantastic game viewing. The Reserve is a unique wildlife conservation haven famous for an abundance of rare species of animals such as the Grey Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe and the Beisa Oryx.

Day 4: Samburu - Ol Pejeta Conservancy
- Depart to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, on the way stopover at Maai Maihiu to view excellent rift valley, arriving in the conservancy which is located in newly Laikipia National Park. It is home to black rhinos and several wild animals, including a chimpanzee sanctuary.
- Have lunch at Serena Sweet Waters Camp.
- In the afternoon, have evening game drives back to the camp to rest.

Day 5: Ol Pejeta - Lake Nakuru
- Depart after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
- Proceed for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru is famous for retaining its reputation as an Ornithologist’s delight with more than 400 species of Birds. The lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species, particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha
- Depart to the Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning game drive after breakfast. Get to see the wildlife that we had previously missed seeing.
- Head to Lake Naivasha afterwards to arrive in time for lunch.
- Have afternoon leisure (optional boat rides or walk at Hell’s Gate National Park).
Dinner and Overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 7: Lake Naivasha
- Depart after breakfast to the Hell’s Gate National Park, where you will get to see the scenic gorges. You can as well do biking in the park. Hell’s Gate is the only park where you can enjoy biking within the park. Despite its rather alarming name, the park has spectacular scenery, including the towering cliffs, water gouged gorges, and belching plumes of natural geothermal steam.
- Have a picnic lunch as you head to the Geothermal Olkaria Spa for a warm swim. The Olkaria Geothermal Station is one of the hottest sources of natural steam globally, with an underground water temperature of 304oC.

Day 8: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara
- Depart after breakfast and drive via Narok to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago.
- Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge and go on an afternoon game drive until sunset.

Day 9: Masai Mara National Reserve
- Enjoy a full day of game drives with a picnic lunch in the wild, with superb photographic opportunities to capture the stately black-manned lion, elephant and various plains game.
- You also have an opportunity to go on a spectacular optional balloon ride across the Maasai Mara. The balloon safari begins in the pre-dawn hours. The magnificent view of the park is thrilling.
- Towards the end of the safari, you rise to a height of 1500 feet for a panoramic view of the twisting Mara River and the Savannah below.
- After an hour or so in the air, your safari finishes with a flourish: a champagne breakfast in the bush, cooked on the balloon's burners.
Please note that this is an optional extra, which can be arranged when booking this trip. A full refund will be given if the balloon trip is cancelled due to bad weather.

Day 10: Masai Mara - Nairobi
- Depart after breakfast and drive to Nairobi, Kenya's colourful capital city (5-hour drive).
- On arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel.
All Meals and Overnight stay at the Ole Sereni Hotel.

Day 11: Giraffe Centre, Nairobi
- Depart to the Giraffe Centre after breakfast. The Centre was established in order to protect endangered species of Giraffe found only in the grassland of East Africa. Here you will get significantly up close and personal to the world’s tallest species while feeding it.
- Take packed lunch as we head to David Sheldrick’s wildlife trust. It operates an orphan elephant rescue and wildlife rehabilitation program in Kenya. Here you’ll learn about the Sheldrick wildlife trust elephants and stories of the orphaned elephants, each by name.
- Proceed to Bomas of Kenya and enjoy an exciting experience with local cultural dancers. Get an inside look at the early traditional homestead of the communities in Kenya.
Head back to the Hotel for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 12: Nairobi - Mombasa
- Depart from Nairobi to Mombasa after breakfast via SGR.
- Transfer from Miritini SGR Terminus to your Hotel. Freshen up and relax at the beach as you watch the beautiful sunset.

Day 13: Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park
Have a full day excursion at Kisite Mpunguti and Wasini Island. The Island is located on the South Coast near Shimoni and South of Wasini Island in Kwale district near the Tanzania border.
Get an opportunity to do snorkelling or scuba diving at the park as you discover endemic marine species.
- Enjoy seafood as lunch and later on head to the hotel to freshen up.
- Relax at the beach as we enjoy the sunset view.

Day 14: Diani
- After breakfast at the Resort, enjoy a whole day of participating in many water sports activities, including windsurfing, waterskiing and kitesurfing.
- In the evening you will get to relax at the beach as you enjoy the view of the sunset.

Day 15: Mombasa - Nairobi
- After breakfast in the morning, prepare to check out of the resort and transfer to Miritini SGR terminus to catch a train back to Nairobi.
- On arrival, you will be dropped off at your Hotel.
