Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Amboseli National Park

   • Meet your Nairobi tour guide at your hotel/residence or Nairobi airport and begin the tour at 06:30 am. Depart for the Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi-Mombasa road. The morning drive goes via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colourful Masai herdsmen grazing cattle. (Transport in a 4WD tour van with a pop-up roof)

   • Arrive at the Amboseli National Park in time for a refreshing lunch at Amboseli AA Lodge/Camp.

   • Take a midday rest and enter the park for the afternoon game-viewing drive. Look out for animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, warthogs, ostriches and many others.

   • See Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the skyline and surrounding countryside. It is the highest in Africa and the tallest free-standing mountain in the world. 

   Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli AA Lodge/Camp.

2. Day 2: Amboseli Excursion & Back to Nairobi

   • Begin an early pre-breakfast game viewing drive in search of the predators and grazers and an extra mid-morning game viewing drive.

   • Stop for lunch before your return trip to Nairobi (lunch is to be paid for directly with the assistance of the Amboseli safari driver guide).

   • Arrive at Nairobi in the late afternoon, around 5.30 pm, and drop off at your Nairobi hotel.
