Description
Embark on this tour to Kenya and see its most prominent lakes and National parks. Pass through the Great Rift Valley and explore picturesque lakes such as Baringo, Naivasha and Elementeita and see the abundant wildlife and birds. Enjoy game drives at Lake Nakuru and Hell's Gate National Park and spot animals, like gazelles, buffalos, rhinos, lions and leopards. Also, visit Kariandusi Museum, an important prehistoric site.

Day 1: Nairobi - Lake Baringo
At 07:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to a predecided assembly point in Nairobi.
After a short safari briefing, you will start your journey westwards to the edge of the escarpment. Take a short break to enjoy the awesome panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley, with the glistening waters of Lake Naivasha in the near distance.
Descend to the Rift Valley floor and travel past Lake Naivasha and Lake Elementaita to Nakuru town. Here, you will again stop by for an early lunch.
Post lunch, proceed to Lake Baringo where you arrive in the afternoon.
Enjoy a boat ride and fishing expedition in Lake Baringo, followed by a visit to a nearby island.
Return to the camp/hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 2: Lakes Bogoria & Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, enjoy a walk beside the lake, followed by a visit to the local communities to interact with them and learn about their culture.
Afterwards, you will proceed to Lake Bogoria, located within Lake Bogoria National Reserve.
Arrive in time for lunch at the shores of Lake Bogoria and relish a delicious picnic lunch by the lake side.
In the afternoon, explore Lake Bogoria National Reserve as you go for a game drive. Take a walk around this spectacular lake in the heart of an arid landscape. This soda lake attracts massive flocks of flamingos and is often carpeted with pink flamingos. The western shore of the lake has a number of hot springs. This place is also known for bubbling geothermal pools and natural geysers.
Later in the afternoon, embark on drive to Nakuru town.
Upon arrival in Nakuru, have dinner, followed by a comfy overnight stay.

Day 3: Lakes Nakuru & Elementeita
Have an early morning breakfast at 06:00 am. Later, with a packed picnic lunch, leave for a day-long extensive game drive at Lake Nakuru Park. Lake Nakuru is famous for a huge concentration of birds, particularly the pink flamingos. The park also serves as a conservation area for endangered rhinos.
Next, drive up to the Baboon Cliff, the highest point in the park, offering photogenic views of the scenic landscape that surrounds the park.
Set out for an afternoon game drive around the lake and take the opportunity to catch a glimpse of different game such as waterbuck, gazelle, buffalo, rhino, the rare Rothschild giraffe, lion, leopard, and many more. As the game drive goes on, you will also visit Nakuru Makaria Falls.
Thereafter, proceed for a short drive to Lake Elementeita and revel in the scenic views that make for an extended photo session of the Great Rift Valley. Keep your eyes open for you might get to witness different kinds of birds and animals.
After a full day game drive, return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Exploring Lake Elementeita and Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, begin to explore the beautiful Lake Elementeita. This beautiful lake attracts many visiting flamingos and the shores are grazed by zebra, gazelle, eland, and families of warthog.
At the southern end of the Lake lies the “Kekopey” hot springs. The springs are very popular for bathing. The local Masais claim that taking a dip in the hot springs can cure many diseases. The reed beds nearby are the fishing grounds for night herons and pelicans.
Next, you will visit the Kariandusi Museum, an important prehistoric site where stone hand axes and cleavers were discovered in 1929 by Louis Leakey.
After lunch, proceed to Lake Naivasha, which is known for its export flowers farming.
Upon arrival in the afternoon, check in to your hotel/ lodge.
Relax for a while and then leave for Lake Naivasha for an optional boat ride, coupled with a fishing expedition, accompanied by local fishermen.
Head to Crescent Island in the lake or drive across the narrow, swampy causeway from the sanctuary farm to access the island for more activities in the remaining part of the day.
This private island sanctuary is one of the few places in the Great Rift Valley where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, impalas, and spot countless bird species.
Enjoy some more island walks and photography tours led by a tour guide.
As the day ends, return to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha - Hell's Gate National Park - Nairobi
After breakfast, proceed for a short 10-minute drive to Hell’s Gate National Park for a walking and cycling experience, accompanied by a local guide who will help you explore this park. The park was named for its pair of massive red-tinged cliffs, framing a geochemically active interior of steam vents and bubbling springs. The looming cliffs and the Hell’s Gate gorge itself offer a spectacular sight. It is an ideal place to enjoy hiking, biking, and rock climbing.
Next, you will visit the Fischer’s Tower, a 25-m high volcanic rock and another popular tourist attraction. You will also visit Olkaria Geothermal Power Station, which offers a spectacular site with plumes of steam rising into the air.
After exploring Hell's Gate Park, drive back to your accommodation for lunch. As the tour ends, prepare to depart for your journey back to Nairobi.
You will arrive at your hotel in the afternoon. End of the tour.
