Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

   • Depart Nairobi at 8:00 a.m. to Maasai Mara Reserve. This enormous reserve is part of the vast Serengeti plains, famously known for its spectacular great wild beast migration. It is home to the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino. You will arrive in time for lunch and check-in at the camp/lodge. 
   • After checking in, you will freshen up, have your lunch after lunch, and head out for an afternoon game drive.
   • During your stay, you also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai people to witness the singing and dancing that are a part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. 
   • In the evening, head back to the camp/lodge for dinner, leisure and overnight.                                                                       

2. Day 2: Full day in Maasai Mara

   • After breakfast, you will spend the day viewing the great predators and exploring the park's amazingly high concentration of wild animals. During your game drives, you will be able to enjoy the picturesque ecosystem, which hosts over 95 species of mammals. Highlights include elephant, buffalo, hippo, Masai giraffe, Thomson's gazelle, zebra. Predators include lion, cheetah, leopard, and hyena. 
   • In the evening, you will head back to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.        

3. Day 3: Maasai Mara to Nairobi

   • On this day, you will go for an optional hot air balloon ride followed by breakfast. 
   • After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart for Nairobi. 
   • You will arrive in the late afternoon, after which you will be dropped off at that airport for your international flight.
