Description
Hike to the Menengai Crater, an extinct volcano on the northern side of Nakuru. Enjoy the climb up to the Menengai Crater and then descend to the crater floor in 8 hours.
Itinerary

Menengai Crater Hike
07:00 am: Pick-up from Kencom bus station and departure.
08:00 am: Stopover at the Great Rift Valley view-point for some photos.
08:30 am: Embark on the journey to Nakuru. Reach Menengai crater at around 09:30 am in order to have ample hiking time.
09:30 am: Begin the hike at Capital Hill Hotel, which is about 5 kms to the Caldera.
12:00 pm: Take the challenge of going down the crater to have a closer view of the caldera. (2-3 hours)
02.00 pm: Assemble at the view-point to take rest.
02:30 pm: Have lunch.
04:30 pm: Depart for Nairobi.
