Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

   • Pick up from Nairobi and drive northwards via the scenic surroundings to the remote Samburu National Reserve.

   • Arrive in good time for lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

   • Head for an evening game drive in the reserve.

   Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

2. Day 2: Samburu National Reserve

   • Spend the whole day at leisure, with unlimited game viewing drives in this reserve.

   • Witness the might of the residents, adapted to the semi-arid conditions.

   All meal and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

3. Day 3: Samburu to Aberdare National Park

   • After breakfast, drive to Aberdares National Park. You will have your lunch at Aberdares country club, which is a base serving for the Ark lodge.

   • Afternoon transfer to the Ark Lodge, where you will spend the rest of your day watching animals coming to consume water at the floodlit waterhole.

   Dinner and overnight at the Ark lodge.

4. Day 4: Aberdare to Lake Nakuru National Park

   • Savour your morning dose of hot coffee as you prepare yourself for a transfer to the Aberdares country club for your heavy breakfast.

   • Drive via the astonishing Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru.

   • Have lunch and go for an evening game drive in the park.

   All meals and overnight at the Lodge.

5. Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

   • Head for breakfast at the lodge, followed by a brief game viewing drive out of the park as you head to Africa's greatest Masai Mara national reserve.

   • Have lunch and go for an evening game viewing drive in the reserve.

   All meals and overnight at camp/lodge.

6. Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve

   • Spend the whole day at leisure with morning and afternoon game viewing drives or spend the full day in the field, searching for the plain game with an option of picnic lunch.

   • This reserve is most famous for the great wildebeest migration taking place between Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and Masai Mara in the months of July and October. The phenomenon occurs annually where a multitude of wildebeests and zebras move from Tanzania in July to Masai Mara and return at the end of October.

   All meals and overnight at Camp/lodge.

7. Day 7: Masai Mara to Nairobi - Departure

   • After a hearty breakfast, depart for Nairobi with some en-route stopovers along the way.

   • Get dropped off at the airport in time to connect with your outbound flight back home.
