Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

   • Meet your local tour guide at 8 am at your hotel for pick-up and transfer. 

   • Drive to Maasai Mara via the great Rift Valley viewpoint for breathtaking views of the floor of the Rift Valley. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way.

   • Check in to your camp and depart for game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve.

   • Return to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner and rest at the Lenchada Tourist Camp. 

2. Day 2: Game Drive in Maasai Mara Reserve

   • Spend an entire day touring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five. 

   • Have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale alongside the banks of Mara river.

   • As an optional activity, in the evenings,  you can visit a local Maasai village for cultural tours at USD 20 per person. Learn all about the Masai community and interact with the local Maasai people. Overnight at the Masai village can be organised upon request. A balloon safari at USD 380 per person can also be organised. 

3. Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

   • Enjoy an early morning game drive in Mara Reserve followed by breakfast.

   • Commence the drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.  

   • Spend the night at the Lanet Matfam Resort and have dinner.

4. Day 4: Return to Nairobi

   • Have an early breakfast and depart by 7 am, straight to the National park.

   • See rare, white rhinos, pink flamingos on a game drive for 3 hours.

   • Depart on a 3-hour drive back to Nairobi.
