Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu

   • Transfer after breakfast for Samburu National Reserve. It offers unique panoramas of rounded, rugged hills and undulating plains.

   • Game viewing and visibility is excellent: Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Elephant, Oryx, Somali Ostrich, Hippo, Crocodile, Gerenuk, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Hyena.

   • Arrive in time for your hot lunch and later go on an evening game drive.

   Accommodation: Full Board at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

   Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner.

2. Day 2: Samburu to Lake Nakuru

   • Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago, and you may find white rhino at the southern end. 

   • Arrive in time for a hot lunch. 

   • Enjoy your afternoon game drive at Nakuru National Park.

   Accommodation: Full Board at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge.

   Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

3. Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

   • Go on a spectacular morning game drive around Lake Nakuru.

   • Have breakfast and depart for Lake Naivasha.

   • Boat rides can be arranged by your guide at a minimal rate.

   Accommodation: Full board at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge.

   Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

4. Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara

   • Depart with picnic lunch boxes after your morning breakfast and transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. 

   • Get a breathtaking view (seen in the film "Out Of Africa" much of which was filmed here) and an extraordinary density of animals including the "Big Five" and many varieties of plains game. 

   • Enjoy your en-route game viewing at Masai Mara National Reserve.

   Accommodation: Full Board at Sentrim Mara.

   Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

5. Day 5: Full Day Masai Mara Game Reserev

   • Proceed for a full day game drive. The Mara reserve is 1510 sq. km of incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile river woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek Rivers. Wherever you go in the Mara, you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai Giraffe, Baboons, Warthogs, Bat Eared Foxes, Grey Jackals, Spotted Hyena, Topi, Impala, Wildebeest, Elephants, Buffaloes, Zebras and Hippos also exist in great numbers. 

   Accommodation: Full Board at Sentrim Mara.

   Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

6. Day 6: Masai Mara to Nairobi

   • Go for an early morning balloon trip, which is usually an outstanding way of seeing the savannah plains and the wildlife below. (optional)

   • Come back down for a beautiful champagne breakfast.

   • Go on an early morning game drive before being transferred to the Nairobi hotel or airport.

   Accommodation: End of Tour. (No Accommodation)
