Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli

   • Meet your Kenyan tour guide at your hotel and head to Amboseli National Park.

   • Have lunch upon arrival at the park.

   • Enjoy a scenic afternoon game drive. You may get to see African bush elephants, cape buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, giraffes, and wildebeest. Keep an eye out for views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.

   Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

2. Day 2: Amboseli National Park

   • Have an early breakfast and depart for a full day of game viewing.

   • Drive through the park and see wildlife in action. Get an opportunity to see herds of cattle that are grazing in the fields along with a view of Mount Kilimanjaro. See animals quenching their thirst at a waterhole.

   • Have a delicious picnic lunch in the park.

   • Engage in some fun wildlife photography.

   • Return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Amboseli to Aberdare National Park

   • Have breakfast at your lodge in Amboseli.

   • Depart for Aberdare National Park and have lunch en-route. 

   • Drive through Kikuyu farmland before reaching the foothills of Aberdare Ranges where coffee and tea is grown.

   • Check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

   • Spend the evening watching animals who come to a nearby waterhole to drink water.

   Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

4. Day 4: Aberdare to Lake Nakuru National Park

   • Have an early morning breakfast and drive to the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park.

   • Have lunch upon arrival. 

   • Enjoy a game drive through this beautiful park in the golden sun of the late afternoon, when this park is best explored. Keep an eye out for white rhinos as they tend to gather in front of the acacia forest at the southern end of the lakes, and spot leopards, buffaloes, and hippos.

   • Circle Lake Nakuru in your van and observe the landscape.

   • Drive to the top of Baboon Cliff for a stunning sunset view.

   Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

5. Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

   • Have an early breakfast and depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

   • Have lunch upon arrival at Maasai Mara.

   • Proceed for a game drive in the world-famous game reserve in the afternoon. Keep an eye out for the big five animals: lions, leopards, elephants, cape buffaloes, black and white rhinos. You will also find giraffes, zebra, a variety of gazelle species, and cheetahs. 

   • Return to the lodge at dusk. 

   Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

6. Day 6: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

   • You may choose to go on an early morning hot-air balloon ride as an option at USD 450 per person. The ride starts at 6:00 am and once you ascend in the air you can see stunning views of the game reserve.

   • Eat breakfast in the bushes of Maasai Mara. 

   • Return to the lodge and spend the rest of the day in leisure.

   Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

7. Day 7: Maasai Mara to Nairobi

   • Go for an early morning game drive with your Maasai Mara Safari guide and witness a beautiful sunrise.

   • Have breakfast in the lodge before check-out.

   • Depart for Nairobi.

   • Have a stopover at Narok town and browse through the bustling, vibrant Masai markets to buy curios and handicrafts. 

   • Savour lunch en-route. 

   Return to your accommodation in Nairobi.
