Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrivale in Tarangire National Park

   • Meet and greet your professional Tanzania guide at the agreed-upon location and drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. You will be transported in a private safari vehicle with a pop-up roof. This African National Park is home to three rare species of animals - the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park (own picnic from your hotel).

   • Transfer to Lake Manyara Area in the late afternoon.

   Dinner and overnight at the camp.

2. Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park Expedition

   • Have a refreshing breakfast at the camp. From Tarangire, you will be driven to Lake Manyara national park, where you will enjoy a full day drive to explore the beauty of the park. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephant and a huge number of baboons, and its varied landscape supports an impressive range of other game including wildebeest, buffalo, hippo, flamingo, zebra, warthog, waterbuck, dik-dik and impala. 

   Dinner and overnight at the camp.

3. Day 3: Back to Arusha

   • Have a scrumptious breakfast at the camp. Experience Tanzanian life in the small village of Mto wa Mbu, which is found at the foot of the Great Rift Valley and is also home to Lake Manyara National Park. The village is famous for its wildlife, its many species of banana (including the red banana) and its different tribes. 

   • Enjoy Maasai dancing and more cultural activities before proceeding back to Arusha.

   Drop off at your hotel or airport.
