Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara (265 km, 5.5 hours)

   • Depart Nairobi in the morning.

   • Drive through the Great Rift Valley and down to the floor of the Rift Valley, making a stop at a viewpoint to see the escarpment and the awesome sight of the valley.

   • Arrive at Masai Mara around mid-day in time for lunch.

   • After lunch, relax before taking the afternoon game drive deep in the Savannah grassland in search of the big five and other wildlife within this famous Masai Mara park.

   Later return to the camp before dark for dinner and overnight.

2. Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve

   • Have breakfast early in the morning.

   • After breakfast, head out with a picnic lunch box and spend the day in Masai Mara, Kenya's most popular game reserve, where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five - lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and an elephant.

   • Drive down to the Mara River for hippos and crocodiles and break for lunch under an acacia tree.

   • After lunch, continue with the safari and return to the camp late in the evening.

   Relax by the tent before dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Masai Mara to Nairobi

   • Early in the morning, game drive in search of the big pride of lions and other animals.

   • Come to the camp for breakfast.

   • Check out and drive back to Nairobi, arriving at approx. 4 p.m.

   • Drop at your hotel.

   • Have lunch and transfer to the airport for the onward flight home. 

   End of tour.
