Itinerary

1. Nairobi to Hell's Gate National Park

   • Depart your Nairobi Hotel at 7 am and drive to the Hells Gate National Park, stopping at viewpoints to marvel at the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment. 
   • Hell’s Gate is one of Kenya's smaller National Parks. It can be explored on foot and by bicycle. 
   • Arrive at the gate of Hell's Gate around mid-morning and start the biking tour for 2 hours within hell's Gate; some people will opt to drive, which is also allowed. 
   • Animals seen here include Bushbucks, Dikdiks, Giraffes, Gazelles, Gnus, Hartebeests, Impalas, Klipspringers, Buffaloes, Hyraxes, Zebras, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongooses, Baboons, Monkeys and Porcupines amongst others. The park has historically been an important home for the rare lammergeyer vultures. 
   • From 11 am, visit the gorges for 1 hour, capture beautiful panoramas of the gorge's small thin depressions of land mass where you can walk underneath. 

2. Lake Naivasha Boat Ride

   • Then, at 1 pm, have lunch (your own expense is available for purchase) . 
   • At 2 pm, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha (for the option selected ). For one hour, you can see some of the local wildlife, including hippos, buffalo, fish eagles, pelicans and much more. 
   • After the tour, drive back to Nairobi, arriving around 6 pm.
