Itinerary
-
Nairobi Full Day Excursion
- Get a pick-up from the hotel early in the morning, around 7-8 am, and drive to Nairobi National Museum and Snake Park.
- Your next stop is the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you will see dozens of baby elephants being fed from giant milk bottles right before you (11-12 pm). Then you'll watch the elephant babies roll about in the mud, playing, frolicking like young children everywhere. This world-renowned sanctuary rescues orphaned elephants throughout Africa and raises them with expertise and love.
- Have lunch before a visit to your next destination
- Proceed with a drive to Giraffe Center. There's a feeding tower where you'll hand-feed a food pellet to a curious giraffe. Some lucky visitors have been known to get a giraffe kiss! The Center is a refuge for the endangered Rothschild's giraffe. You'll learn about this beautiful species at the special Information Center. This is a children's favourite spot.
- Your last destination is a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum, famous for the book and film "Out of Africa", an Oscar-winning film based on Karen's autobiography by the same title. There's also an optional visit to Tamambo Karen Blixen Restaurant near the museum.
- In the end, get a drop-off at your accommodation.
