Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

   • Arrive at Nairobi airport, where you will meet by your representative and leave for Amboseli National Park.

   • Arrive for lunchtime at Sentrim Tented camp.

   • After check-in, take some time out to relax.

   • Depart for an afternoon game drive till sunset with your Kenyan safari guide.

   Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

2. Day 2: Amboseli National Park

   • Spend the full day in this amazing Amboseli National Park. Situated close to Kenya-Tanzania border, the Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa whose snow-capped summit presents a view on clear days.

   • Learn why Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants’, as you witness some of the largest Elephant herds.

   Meals and overnight at Sentrim Tented camp.

3. Day 3: Lake Naivasha

   • After early morning breakfast, leave Amboseli Reserve and head to the famous Rift Valley Lakes heading to Lake Naivasha.

   • After check-in and refreshments, head to the freshwater lake, which is home to over 400 bird species and a large population of hippo.

   • Take a boat ride past all the hippos and visit the stunning Crescent Island Sanctuary (optional).

   • Walk amongst giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and waterbucks. 

   Head back to Naivasha Hotel for dinner and a good night’s rest.

4. Day 4: Masai Mara

   • Have breakfast and then head for a game drive while exiting the park.

   • Head to Africa’s premier Game Reserve Masai Mara.

   • En-route to the Mara, stop at the Great rift valley viewpoint and take in the magnificent view over the plains.

   • Arrive by lunchtime, have your lunch and rest. 

   • Set out for the first game drive in Maasai Mara in search of the big cats and plenty of wildebeest.

   Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the Olmoran Tented Camp.

5. Day 5: Masai Mara

   • Have your breakfast and depart with packed lunches for a full day of exploring the park in search of the Big 5 and other wild games.

   • Choose an optional hot air balloon safari that can be arranged at an extra cost or a visit to the Masai Village to learn their culture and way of life.

   • See lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant.

   • Witness the migration (seasonal). The spectacular annual event takes place in the Mara, the migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.

   Later, return for dinner and overnight at the Olmoran Tented Camp.

6. Day 6: Masai Mara to Nairobi

   • After breakfast, depart for Nairobi.

   • Arrive in the afternoon and drop off at the airport to catch your flight back home.
