Discover Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's capital city, home to Lucy, the early australopithecine specimen that lived about 3.2 million years old. The vibrant city is also the African Union's headquarter. This tour begins from Entoto Mountain and proceeds towards Shiro Meda, the famous Ethnographical Museum, and the National Museum. It ends at the final resting place of Haile Selassie. Trip to Addis Ababa
Visit Entoto Mountain, Ethiopia's capital, before Addis Ababa and enjoy the city's panoramic views with fresh air from the eucalyptus forests.
Explore the Entoto Maryam Church and museum.
Proceed to Addis Ababa via Shiro Meda, the city’s largest market for traditional clothes.
Move towards the campus of Addis Ababa University to the Ethnographical Museum, which has great displays of Ethiopia's many cultures, housed in the former palace of Haile Selassie.
Visit the National Museum, where Ethiopia’s oldest resident, Lucy, is housed.
Go to the Selassie (Trinity) church, one of the most important churches of Addis Ababa and the final resting place of Haile Selassie.
Shop in Addis Marcato, the local marketplace which is said to be Africa’s largest open-air market.
