Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Lalibela and Visit the Northern Group of Churches

   • Arrive in Lalibela in the late morning via flight from Addis Ababa.
   • Transfer to your hotel and check-in.
   • In the afternoon, visit the northern group of Lalibela rock-hewn churches, which include:
     • Bete Medhane Alem
     • Bete Maryam
     • Bete Golgotha
     • Bete Mikael
     • Bete Meskel
     • Bete Denagel
   • Late afternoon, visit the purely monolithic standalone Church of Bete Giyorgis, where you can enjoy a spectacular sunset view.

   Overnight at Top Twelve Hotel or your hotel of choice.

2. Day 2: Lalibela - Visit the Southern Group of Churches and Asheton Mariam Monastery

   • In the morning, visit the southern group of churches, which include:
   • Bete Gabriel-Rufael
   • Bete Merkorios
   • Bete Amanuel
   • Bete Abba Libanos
   • Bete Lehem
   • In the afternoon, hike or drive to Asheton Mariam Monastery, where you can enjoy the 360-degree view of Lalibela.

   Overnight at Top Twelve Hotel or your hotel of choice.

3. Day 3: Visit the Cave Church of Neakuto Leab and Explore Local Culture

   • After breakfast at your hotel, drive to Lalibela airport for your departure.
   • On the way, visit the cave church of Neakuto Leab, built inside a natural cave. Some parts are carved into the rock, while others are constructed using stone and wood.
   • Continue to Lalibela airport for your departure.
