Itinerary

Day 1 - Gondar - Sankaber
Depart early morning from Gondar to Debark.
In Debark, visit with the park office to join up with a scout and guide.
Then, drive into the park to arrive at Sankaber. Here, you can either drive into Sankaber or have the car drop you off near Buyit Ras for a short hike. If you choose the hike, you will be greeted by an amazing landscape.
Spend the night at the Sankaber camp.

Day 2 - Sankaber - Geech
- From Sankaber, begin your hike along the ridge and descend into the valley.
- View the Jinbar river plunging down the Geech Abyss, creating a beautiful waterfall.
- After some time at the waterfall, continue to Geech village to reach your campsite.
Overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3 - Geech - Gondar
- Embark on a 7-hour hike that offers the best breathtaking view in the Simien Mountains.
- Reach the Imet Gogo peak at an altitude of 3,926 m. Here, take a break for lunch.
- Then, hike the rest of the way to Ambaras, where you will be met by a car to bring you back to Gondar.
