Itinerary

1. Day 1 : Addis Ababa City Tour

   • Meet the guide at the Addis Ababa         Airport or at your hotel.
   • Drive to the hotel for breakfast, and refresh for a while. 
   • Go to Entoto, the previous capital city of Ethiopia before Addis Ababa was established. 
   • Enjoy the view of Addis from the viewpoint at the top of Entoto 3000 meter above sea level.
   • Visit the palace of Menelek and  empress Tayitu. 
   • Visit  Entoto Musum to see the royal treasur inside.
   • Drive to  the Ethnographic Museum to see the artifacts and household equipments of different ethnic groups, and the bedroom of Emperor Hailessilase; the last king of Ethiopia. 
   • Go to the national museum to see the famous Lucy, one of the earliest ancestors who lived around 3.2 million years ago.
   • Have lunch in the lucy Gazebo restaurant situated near the compound.
   • After lunch, see the Trinity cathedral church, where the remains of Emperor Hailesilasse the( last king of Ethiopia) and his wife are found.
   • If time allows visit Merkato  the biggest open air market in Africa (spice market )

        Overnight in Addis Ababa hotel

2. Day 2

   • Drive to Ziway town (named after lake ziway), is known for the mass production of fish for the countries demond , but now due to over fishing the amount of fish is significantly declined . Lake ziway is also known for the five island that are found in the middle of the lake in fact one of the island was the hiding place for the Ark of the Covenant  during the time of Yodit Gudit.
   • Stay around the shore see the activities and the birdlife like Marabu storks , heroins, Ibis, hammer kops , Egyptian geez ....etc
   • Lunch in hile resort Ziway town
   • Drive to Abiyata shala national park , Visit the wild life like warthogs , gazelle ,kudus , baboon ,Ostriches and other type of founa and flora
   • Visit the hot springs of the park and also visit both lakes (Abiata &shalla)lake side byside
   • Drive to Awassa over night in Awasa

3. Day 3 Awasa to Dorze

   • In the mornig drive to visit the fish market(Amora gedel) in Awasa and leave 
   • Drive to Dorze village on the way enjoy the landscape, the nature and the wolayta communities 
   • Visit the Dorze village known for their cloth making out of cotton 
   • Visit the Dorze  uniqu house which looks like an Elephant head some say a bee hive 
   • Overnight in Arbaminch 

4. Arbaminch to konzo

   • After breakfast Drive to lake Chamo to take a boat trip to see hippos and the giant corocodiles in a place called corocodile market.
   • Visit the bird life like African fish eagle , pelicans ,heroine ......etc
   • Have a picnic lunch on the way
   • Drive to Konso
   • Visit the village of koso the hard working people who lives on the highlands , known for making terraces to protect the soil from erosion 
   • And learn about their social organization the Clan system 
   • Also learn about their carved grave mark called  Waka
   • Over night in Konso  kanta lodge

5. Day 5 Konso to Jinka

   • Drive to Jinka on the way visit a place so called the sky ''scrapers ''  it is a uniqe land scape made of special type of soil.
   • Drive to Jinka on the way enjoy seeing Tsemy tribe
   • Lunch brak in weyto town
   • Drive to Jinka  on the way visit the Ari village and their life syle.
   • here in the Ari village you will also practically learn how to bake Injera
   • Over night in Jinka

6. Day 6 Jinka to Mursi to Turmi

   • Drive to Mursi village visit the lip pearced ladies of mursi
   • Visit theri life style 
   • Lunch in key Afer town
   • Drive to Turmi town
   • On the way see the Bena Tribe 
   • Over night Turmi town

7. DAy 7 Turmi to Omorate

   • Drive to Omorate  to visit the Dasenech tribe by crossing the Omo river with the traditional boat made of wood carved hollow in the middle 
   • Drive back from Omorate to Turmi 
   • Have lunch in Turmi
   • After lunch visit one of the hammer village and learn about their life style if lucky, see the bull jumping event (a pre marriage event)
   • Over night in Turmi

8. Day 8 Turmi to Erbore

   • Drive to Erbore visit the village and their lifestyle and social organization .
   • Drive to konso...on the way Weyto  town
   • Lunch brake in  konso town
   • Drive to Arbaminch 
   • Over night  in Arba minch

9. Day 9 Arbaminch

   • Drive around in the town to see the remaining places like the 40 springs (Arbaminch named After the discovery of 40 springs) but now the number of springs are more than 400
   • Transfer to the airport fly back to Addis Ababa..
   • If there are remaing places to be seen in Addis Ababa visit ...
   • Fair well dinner party for Departure 
   • End of program
