Explore Addis Ababa
Meet your tour guide at your hotel or another agreed-upon location and embark on your day tour.
Make your way to the Entoto Mountain and enjoy the panoramic views of the city.
Visit the Entoto Maryam Church and Museum to know more about Addis Ababa.
Proceed to Shiro Meda, the city’s largest market for traditional clothes.
Go to the campus of Addis Ababa University and visit the Ethnographical Museum, with great displays of the many cultures of Ethiopia, housed in the former palace of Haile Selassie.
Continue with a visit to the National Museum, where Ethiopia’s oldest resident, Lucy, is housed.
Explore the Selassie (Trinity) Church, one of the most important churches of Addis Ababa and the final resting place of Haile Selassie.
Visit the Unity Park which has total land coverage of 40 acres and contains myriads of historical buildings and plants that date back to the time of Emperor Menelik II, the founder of the Grand Palace. It also includes the Banquet hall, the throne hall, Miniliki's Palace complex, Ethiopian regional states pavilion, Traditional garden, Ethiopian Zoo which houses the Black-maned lion.
Indulge in shopping at Merkato, the local marketplace which is said to be Africa’s largest open-air market.
