Welcome to Ethiopia,

i am certified guide in Ethiopia, I began the work of guiding when i was young.Everyday tourists used to come to my city (Aksum) and I would try to help them.In this due process, I fell in love with the profession of tourism, and started to sell souvenirs to the tourists.Also I started to learn about Aksum and ask the older people to increase my knowledge.

When I finished my high school, I received my local guide certificate in 1997.To further upgrade myself, I took different courses from UNESCO & World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations and gathered many certificates.I also graduated from the College by Tourism management and finally achieved my dream.

I am also the founder and member of Aksum Guides Association and have worked in different positions as well.I work as a fixer, translator and guide for deferent medias like BBC” News Hour” CBC (Canadian broadcasting Corporation) and VRT TV. 

I also work for different tour companies as agent and a freelance guide to all over Ethiopia.I hope you will choose me as your guide in Ethiopia and have an unforgettable trip.
