My name is Getu Sisay I was born and grown up in Lalibela holy land place I attended my elementary school in my village and studied Tourism management (Tour guiding courses) in Addis Abeba Lion hotel and Tourism college, 

When I finished college, I was one of the few candidates to pass the entrance exam for the Bureau of Tourism Commission’s to become a professional guide, 

Subsequently, I learned and took trainings which covered wild-life 

conservation in Ethiopia, Tourism 

management, Ethiopian ecology, botany, 

mammal and bird identification and 

history, as well as trekking arrangement, 

mountaineering, map-reading, first-aid, customer handand service 

providing.This training increased my awareness and knowledge of all 

Ethiopian tourist destinations a lot.Upon finishing, I became an official guide in 2013 and have been leading tourists everywhere in Ethiopia.
