Day 1- Fly addis to gobe (bale robe)Arrival at Bale Mountains National Park
- Upon arrival at the park headquarters, immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Bale Mountains.
- In the afternoon, embark on a leisurely hike, where you may encounter endemic wildlife, including Menelik’s Bushbuck and the elusive Mountain Nyala.
- The area is also home to a rich variety of bird species, such as the Abyssinian Longclaw, Wattled Ibis, Black-Headed Siskin, and Rouget’s Rail.
- Enjoy a 2-3 hour trek, absorbing the serene landscapes and vibrant wildlife. Overnight camping at an altitude of 3,000 meters.

Day 2- Trekking from Dinsho to Sodota
- Begin your adventure with an invigorating hike from Dinsho, entering the heart of Bale Mountains National Park.
- This day’s trek reveals stunning vistas as you traverse diverse terrains.
- Keep your eyes peeled for the rare Ethiopian Wolf, one of the world’s most endangered canids, along with majestic birds of prey.
- Take a refreshing break at Habera Waterfall before continuing to the Sodota campsite, where you’ll spend the night at an altitude of 3,500 meters. This leg of the journey covers approximately 20 kilometres.

Day 3- Trekking from Sodota to Adeley
- After breakfast, set out towards Adeley, journeying through the picturesque Web Valley and the lush woodland areas of the national park.
- This trek offers another chance to spot the endangered Ethiopian Wolf, as well as unique wildlife like the Giant Mole Rat and a variety of endemic birds.
- Covering around 18 kilometers, this trek culminates in an overnight stay at the Adeley campsite, situated at 3,400 meters.

Day 4- Descent to Dinsho
- On your final morning, enjoy breakfast before embarking on a scenic 2-hour hike back to Dinsho.
- This descent takes you through enchanting forests of Hygenia and Juniper trees, where you may encounter Olive Baboons, Menelik’s Bushbuck, Mountain Nyala, Bohor Reedbuck, and an array of bird species.
- Conclude your adventure surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Bale Mountains, leaving with unforgettable memories of this remarkable journey and the fly back addis or drive.
